Side Dish - Fried Potatoes with Cheese

Hello once again to another episode of....

Cooking with Wodka

Today something I love very much

Fried potatoes with melted cheese

What you will need:
Potatoes
Onion
Oil
Grated Cheese (min 45% fat)
Microwave or Oven

Now first you have to boil the potatoes in water.
While they boil chop the onions in little pieces.
Add oil to the frying pan and the onions.
After the potatoes are cooked you cut them in slices and add them in the pan.



Fry till crisp or how you would like them

You get a nice big bowl (I use a glas one)
Add the fried potatoes and top it with grated cheese



Now I put the bowl in a microwave but you also can put it in the oven, if your bowl will take the heat.

About 3-5 minutes on HI and the cheese should be melted.
This goes lovely with Steak or Chicken

I can image that directly on top of a nice juicy steak. Wonder how it'd go with my chicken fried steak. I mean if I'm going to go out, might as well be orgasmic.

But my Doc also said to take it easy... or I wont be makinig it to 40...
btw I turn 40 in October... omg

I'm a few years behind, so I've got time! I'm going to try this out either tonight or tomorrow... I'm thinking with some chicken. I'll do up some nice healthy grilled chicken and steamed veggies to counter act the "I kill you" factor of this side dish.

yea I know.. I should RP.. I will try my best to get some kind of cooking segment on the show next season...

The next problem is in 2 weeks I am going on vacation for 3 weeks so I dont know if I can get anything in but I will try.

I already said we should of done a Cooking Theme Show one time >.< alot might not have seen it but it would be win.

Well, I don't know if the rest of the staff is up for this, but maybe you could in the off season prepare these into RP segs, or someone willing to, to throw them into the show to show activity next season... till you come back. Kind of like a pre-recorded event, if the rest of the staff doesn't mind that is. Wouldn't bother me...

Doesn't bother me either. I really think that this would be awesome to do.

I would love to see some RPs from Wodka where he is actually back stage cooking for people. he can even have a fire happen, which would be hilarious.

I think that it's unanimous. Cooking with Wodka would be an epic segment
