are sports players payed too much?

something that drives me nuts is how much some sports stars are paid in contrast to people who do more then kick a bit of leather.

the likes of firemen who has to save peoples lives every day dont even get in a year, what the average English football premier league player gets a week. It is pathetic in my view.

This stretches to further then England, NBL, basketball, American Football, Hockey player... hell you continue the rest. end of the day people are paid way too much.


how could we stop this?

Hell Magic take it a step further and go after actors and actresses. As well as law enforcement and teachers make too little for what they contribute.

And I agree, there is way to much money being given to people who only do things to entertain us.

It's all down to commercialisation. Whilst there is insane money from sponsorship, sports teams and whatnot will pay silly money.

Of course bad financial management also doesn't help. Most sports teams have huge debts.

This is an interesting (not sure an accuracy, but from looking at the football players (of both types) it looks about accurate) website to look at the mental wages people get.

players gets millions of dollars.. while ppl who actually really works doesn't get a s-hit..
