| Welcome again to another episode of Cooking with Wodka Today I would like to interduce you to something special Marinated Beef with Punch Cabbage/ Broiled Cabbage and Potatoe/Bread Dumplings Fist we start off frying the meat on each side then you add the special marinade (not telling any secrets here how its made and let cook on medium for 2 hours or untill the meat almost falls apart Now cut up the bread and Cabbage (Leave a bit of cabbage on the side to broil/simmer in butter) also peel potatoes and cook them till they are done. when the potatoes are finished press them in (sorry dont know the name of the maschine) but like making mashed potatoes should service enough The breadcrumbs you mix in molten butter, egg and onions and parsly. The potatoes you mix in flower and and egg. Roll them in many small balls and out comes... These balls you simmer in water till they are fully cooked. The Cabbage you drain the water and add a cooked potatoe and fried bacon (cut up small) sorry no picture my wife was too quick when you have finnished everything make your plate and happy eating and I always enjoy a nice Beer with this food... Than you for joining in on this episode of Cooking with Wodka bon apetite | |

| Were those turkey legs with the sausages? Not one of the more traditional American BBQ items but I think it's a great idea! Most of the time when my wife and I "barbecue" it's with the crock pot, while we're at work. :/ | |

| Hello dear readers, welcome once again to another episode of Cooking with Wodka Todays menu: Filled Steak with (again) Dumplings and Red Cabbage First off you have to have your steak meat very thin, then you coat it with a little mustard, pepper, some onions, bacon and pickels. then you roll it together and keep it that way with some thread then in a pan you fry on each side for 1 minute so it has some nice color and then let simmer 2 1/2 hours the red cabbage I get the one in a glass, you add garlic, 1/2 an apple, pepper and fried bacon and let simmer till the juices are almost evaporated, about 30 min. the dumplings are as in an earlier episode so I did not make any pictures of that. well after about 3 hours of simmering, you thicken the juices from the meat for a nice hardy sauce.... fix your plate and enjoy That completes todays episode of Cooking with Wodka I hope you enjoyed it and tune in next time, I will make a dish so even people that burn water can do themselvs bon apetite | |

| Dumplings a popular side dish in Europe?
I'm seriously going to have to try the Filled steak recipe out. I like cabbage, too, but I bet the kids wouldn't eat it. I'll make them, though. Haha!
Now I'm hungry. | |

| these potato dumplings are big in south germany and noodles or plain potatoes dont fit in with the filled steak. The steak has to be very thin and big enough to roll up. And since your simmering it its like when you do a pot roast, very tender and falls apart Steam to your question, no that was chicken legs beside the sausages, I had turkey breast in the white bowl in a marinade made out of Garlic, pepper, oil, paprika and a bit of BBQ sauce. | |

| Clean up after yourself, or your wife gets pissed!! HAHA! Love it.. been there.
Nice job.
I have a quick off topic question, for anyone in general OUTSIDE the U.S. (Mostly cause I saw the coke bottles, I also loved the stove top in that vid. Looks easy to clean.).
Does Coke use real Sugar in your country or High Fructose Corn Syrup? I miss real sugar, I buy Cokes from Mexico quite often.

| coke in the states tastes way worse then coke in Canada or Mexico.
I went to Mexico for two weeks 2 years ago for work, and we stayed across the street from the Coke Bottling factory in Monterrey.

| Least I'm close to the southern border... I love my Coca-Cola, but prefer real sugar. I don't know why we are killing ourselves with Corn Syrup here. The rest of the world seems to know better. And if it's an issue of cost, how come every other country has no issue? It's a little ridiculous I think.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled "Cooking with Wodka!"
